The unseen glare

I wink, and there are all these people laughing everywhere. People talking smoking drinking arguing everywhere.
I blink, and they’re gone. I blink and I despair. I blink and they’re not there.

They’re just not there.

I wink, and they’re back. Lively happy alive they’re there.

I hold my breath. Hold it more. I slowly exhale. I hope and hope, I keep it in, I stay my eyes, I won’t let go.

But I blink, and they’re gone.

    1. There is no doubt I am a giant primadonna, or perhaps I was, I was recently humbled 🙂
It’s just a small way to say I am extremely frustrated by my lack of means and opportunities to be with those I love and miss you!
